Noble feline, how
can you stand being around
humans? It's tough work.

February 28, 2017

In a slumber deep,
Ross Bay Cemetery sleeps-
through the graves I creep.

February 27, 2017

Lone blossom bravely
ventures out first- she leads the
way for spring's great show.

February 26, 2017

Dreams of coral sands,
lagoons- returning to French
Polynesia.

February 25, 2017

Why leave to go out?
We could just stay here and rest-
well, I will at least.

February 24, 2017

Between trees, over
the sea, sunlight is falling-
even on grey days.

February 23, 2017

First cherry blossoms
precede spring with cheering grace-
pink snow will fall soon.

February 22, 2017

Deer, oh dear, more deer,
everywhere you look fresh deer-
Victoria pests.

February 21, 2017

Sunny days bear my
winter slumbered body to
spring- afternoon walks.

February 20, 2017

I don't welcome this
day called Monday- I'd rather
weekend continue.

February 19, 2017

Blueberry pancakes,
strawberries, maple syrup-
weekend breakfast joy.

February 18, 2017

Lush strawberries in
February- easy to
forget our fortune.

February 17, 2017

By Friday, dog-tired,
we collapse on the couch- cat-
naps fill the weekend.

February 16, 2017

Sea and sky dance off
into distance, sunlit and
bright- walk by the sea.

February 15, 2017

A breathtaking walk,
a dramatic backdrop- a
normal West Coast day.

February 14, 2017

A yellow bouquet
from my love who knows me best-
time deepens our love.

February 13, 2017

Sunburst, calm seas, clear
blue skies- this is what winter
on west coast should be.

February 12, 2017

Carry me away
from grey days of cold to spring-
taken with tulips.

February 11, 2017

Wherever I am,
sun shines on me, behold my
glory, I am cat.

Why meditate by
counting breaths when sleeping cats
are near- purrfect zen.

February 9, 2017

Unique crystal world
disappears before our eyes-
common slush remains.

February 8, 2017

Even beneath snow
there is life, promise of spring-
hibernate for now.

February 7, 2017

We complain, then we
gain more snow- perhaps we should
suffer in silence.

February 6, 2017

Normally we'd gloat
about spring blooms- seems we crowed
one too many times.

February 5, 2017

Stay away Monday,
no one wants you to visit-
weekend stay always.

February 4, 2017

Smiling couple may
enshroud life-changing news- two
may in fact be three.

February 3, 2017

Life growing inside
me, small, camera shy- who
you are yet unknown.

February 2, 2017

Groundhogs, not cats used
to predict weather- no cat
would cooperate.

We are gods, not barometers.

February 1, 2017

Who could resist a
face like this? Feed me tuna
now, human servant.

January 31, 2017

Bouquet of sunshine,
sight pulls me from woefulness-
Gerbera daisies.
